We connect vehicle owners ("Users", "Customers", or "Drivers") with local garages for the purpose of booking MOT tests. We provide a booking service, but we do not perform MOT tests or any other vehicle-related services ourselves.

You must be at least 17 years old and legally permitted to drive a vehicle in the UK to use this site.

You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating an account or booking a service.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and login credentials.

simplymot.co.uk is a booking facilitator. We do not own or operate any garages.

We do not charge drivers for bookings. Garages pay us a monthly subscription to be listed and receive bookings.

Payment for MOT services is made directly to the garage. We are not involved in the financial transaction between drivers and garages.

Bookings made via simplymot.co.uk are subject to confirmation by the garage.

Garages reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking at any time.

simplymot.co.uk is not responsible for cancellations, delays, or the performance of any service provided by a garage.

simplymot.co.uk accepts no responsibility or liability for:

• The quality or timeliness of services provided by garages

• Loss or damage resulting from the use of our website or services

• Any disputes between users and garages

• Our total liability to you shall not exceed any amount paid by you to us (typically £0 for drivers).

We collect and process your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By using our website, you agree to receive service-related communications.

You may also receive optional marketing emails, which you can opt out of at any time.

simplymot.co.uk may provide MOT reminder notifications by email or other electronic means as a convenience only. While we make reasonable efforts to send reminders, we do not guarantee that reminders will be delivered, received, or read.

We accept no responsibility or liability if a user does not receive an MOT reminder for any reason, including technical issues, incorrect contact details, email filtering, or system outages.

It remains the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure their vehicle has a valid MOT at all times and to comply with UK legal requirements.

simplymot.co.uk displays MOT history and related vehicle information using data obtained from third-party sources, including the DVSA. While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of this information, we do not guarantee that all MOT history, test results, expiry dates, or related details will always be complete, accurate, or up to date.

Technical issues, data delays, system errors, or third-party service interruptions may occasionally result in incorrect or outdated information being displayed.

simplymot.co.uk accepts no responsibility or liability for any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in MOT history information.

Vehicle owners and users are strongly advised to independently verify MOT status, test results, and expiry dates using the official DVSA website at https://www.gov.uk/check-mot-history.

It remains the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner to ensure their vehicle has a valid MOT and complies with all UK legal requirements.

It remains the responsibility of the user (driver) to assess the suitability and trustworthiness of any garage before proceeding with a booking. We recommend users carry out additional checks, such as reading customer reviews or independently confirming a garage's reputation and MOT authorisation status where appropriate.
